Puck lights

How do you remove the ceiling puck lights that have the push button on/off switch in the middle of the lens. The switch has been pushed in and needs to be reset

There are several different models of puck lights with switches.
Some, the lens simply pries/snaps off.
On mine, the lens had threads and turned about 3/4 turn counterclockwise to remove.

And mine didn't either.
Because the lens is such thin plastic, there's a fine line between gripping hard enough to turn (where you actually squeeze the lens against the fixture and causes it not to turn) and simply applying enough pressure to twist the lens.

Glad you asked that question, I've been trying to open mine to clean two of them....tried google but no avail. Kept trying to twist but will try to pry.

It would be helpful if you posted year, make and model of RV you have since these lights vary wildly between brands and models. You don't have that info in your profile.
Or post pics.

IF you have a threaded cover using one of those rubber sheet type jar lid "grippers" can help. I will give more grip without having to squeeze which just makes it harder to twist.

I would also carefully examine the seam between top and bottom to see if there is a small "gap" where a small screwdriver blade can be inserted and pry top and bottom apart. That's how the "snap on" covers are removed.

As a last resort I just buy a new light and then just do whatever I have to to get to the screws holding the old light on. Sometimes it involves destruction of the old light.

At some point trying to save a $9 light just isn't worth the effort if you've already tired everything.

That looks just like the ones in my Windjammer, and they are threaded and twist off. I had to remove all of them to clean out the Styrofoam dust.

My 2016 ultralight these are screw on/off. Careful not to cross thread them putting them back on.

I have those lights. The nipple switch in the middle gets stuck if you don't push it in straight. I have taken a small knife and gently pride it out. Sometimes it even does it on it's own. Seems like it always happens when I am getting ready to climb into bed. I do hate these lights.
Good luck

Victory! Got my puck lights off this weekend. The tip from 5Picker to not squeeze to tight was key for me. I use two hands and made sure my fingers were spread around the light cover rather than on just two sides. Then lefty loosey.
Mine are not threaded but rather the cover has three tabs that have to line up with three grooves in the base plate.
Pics attached.

Looks like the kind you have to pry apart. That's what mine do.

My service guy told me to just press up on the center of the light with the palm of my hand and while pressing twist counter clockwise. Worked like a champ
