Rear Observation Camera Wiring

I purchased a Furrion Wireless Observation Camera for my 2014 Cedar Creek Silverback 31RK. From everything I have read I should just be able to tap into the nearest clearance light to power it up. I mounted the camera a couple of inches below the clearance lights. When I drilled a small hole to connect the power it came out inside the trailer above the cupboards. The clearance lights are above the ceiling and the camera will be mounted below the ceiling. I looked around and found a blank switch plate cover nearby with a piece of electrical tape under it held on by one of the screws that holds the plate on. When I pulled the tape out of the wall there was a black cable attached to the other end of the tape. It has a connection on the end of the cable that appears to be some type of pre wiring for something. Not sure if it is for a camera (not furrion) or what. No mention of camera prewire on the list of options. Anyone know what the cable is for? It almost looks like I am going to have to drill up through the ceiling to get to the clearance light wiring unless the cable is a hot line and a ground.
