Red Battery plastic disconnect key

Help! Does anyone know where one can get/buy the red plastic key that turns on/off the battery for 2604WS TT? Looks like we may have lost ours... thanks.

Thanks! [emoji4] Yep, first post but have gotten some really good information that helped us survive the first year, as new TT owners. Appreciate the help!

replacement battery kill switch key

If it's this one, I'll send you one for "free". I replaced the entire switch on a former trailer and I have a couple 'extra' ones I have no need for. https://www.ebay.com/i/230747991875?chn=ps&dispctrl=1

Why did they put it on the outside? Inconvenience and easy to lose the key. How hard would it be to move it?

I prefer a switch without the key.

There are several different type red keys that do not interchange. The entire switch is fairly inexpensive, so I would just replace the switch. Preferably one without a removable key

I had installed one those Red Key Switches last year on top of my battery box lid. Although we never had any problems of it falling out or losing it, we did have sporadic problems with it making a connection. Worked when it wanted to. All connections were tight, just had a mind of it's own.

Finally had enough and purchased and installed this SEAFLO battery Kill Switch. Perfect! Works first time, every time. No more second guessing if its going to work or not.

Buy a quality switch like the Blue Sea ones. Don't scrimp on this. You don't want it failing when you are out camping. They are also waterproof if you have them mounted outside.
