Rocker Switch for stabilizer extend/retract gear

The switch went bad and they sent me a new switch but I can't get the old on apart, or I don't know the secret. It looks like it is a molded back but is supposed to come apart/slide off, then the switch is to slide out so it can be replaced. I can't get it apart and don't want to use too much force. Any input?

Can you pop it out from the back side of the switch?

From the back side of switch pinch the top and bottom tabs and it will come out the front of panel.

I tried getting the back off and it wouldn't move. The RV service guy said to took a bit of force but it wouldn't budge.

I would say it does not appear the square plastic housing on the back of the switch comes off. You'll need to somehow depress the tabs on the original switch (likely from the back through the housing) and remove the original switch by pulling forward out of the housing. The new switch will then snap back into the housing.

I've marked the tabs you need to release to get the original switch out.
Maybe use a thin screwdriver or ice pick type of tool.
