I have a recording voltmeter. A good investment.

The wizard multiple voltage converters charge at different voltages.

Seldom! Does mine charge near 14 volts. Never over an hour. You can hear the loud fan on the highest voltage only. The batteries need to be really low. It then switches to 13.6 as I remember for 24 hours. Then close to 13 volts to finish.

That is how long it takes to recharge my 430 amp battery system. Likely all of them.

This is how wet batteries are.

I doubt a fancy new converter would be much different. Likely has a switch for agm and lithium.

Agm and lithium charge faster.

$2500 worth of lithium would help with a residential fridge. These are not really intended to not be plugged in without more batteries.

Their inverter generators are around 57db, at 23ft, I believe.
They are well loved in the RV Community. Probably #3, behind H & Y.

Westinghouse markets a dual fuel model which looks nearly identical. It's been out of stock for a while. It had mixed reviews due to quality control. I'm hoping it's QC is much improved when they ship again. Not many dual fuel remote start generators out there.

Agreed, but I would probably put Champion #2.
I used to lump Honda and Yamaha together. My brother has Yamahas that have lasted as long as my Hondas. But, Yamaha does not an internal fuel pump for easy use of extended run tanks. So I don't know why they cost the same. Also their newer models are not keeping up with Honda. So why spend the same as a Honda for an inferior product?
And least with a Champion you are paying less for good product.

Just remember the it's a Chinese corporation that bought the license to the Westinghouse name. They're the one that markets these generators and other products that they slap that name one them.
Same goes for other now-defunct American brand names, like Kodak and Bell and Howell.

Charging converter upgrade.

I got the new converter and now have a much better charging voltage going to the batteries than before. We are going to Brown County State Park in Indiana next week, so we'll see how it performs. The batteries had a pretty good charge when I got the new one installed. The first voltmeter check showed 13.6 going to the batteries. So this should take care of my slow charge time to get my batteries back up to where the need to be.

This shows the new converter as shipped.

The new one with the original unit that failed.

The new one installed behind the power center.

And the power center after the new converter installation, before putting the cover door back in place.
