Yes I have two and use the parallel kit for running ac and such. They work great. They are quiet, have wheels and a handle. No issues on my end.

Had the use of one for couple of months when my brother lent it to me, was a 2000 watt starting , 1600 running version, it ran well, not as quite as a Yamaha/Honda but not as loud as others I have heard, was able to carry on a normal conversation while standing beside it,the oil fill is a little tricky to get at, need to use a funnel . I would buy one if I needed to.

I don't have a Ryobi but I have a friend that does. I believe it's 2000 watts (could be wrong), he loves it. Uses it every weekend at his cottage.

I have one. Have used it 2 seasons to run the a/c and keep the batteries charged on by boat multiple weekends. Looking at buying a second one and paralleling them to run my 5th wheel. No issues

Site team did a thread cleanup here.
The now removed posts didn't really add helpful information and were somewhat combative.

We hope Glen enjoys his new generator what ever brand it is.

I can only add that I believe most modern generators will last a long
time assuming normal maintenance is performed. Modern lubricants today
are a far cry from what we had to pour into the crankcase when I was a lad!

A couple of thoughts that I feel are important to newbys shopping for generators-
Does it have a setting where it will idle when under little load?
(this saves gas AND noise)

Are you comparing apples to apples when you read the db sound ratings?
This one is important-- what distance are they claiming the sound db was measured.
If generator A has a db rating measured at 10 feet and generator B has a
slightly higher db measured at 20 feet- generator B is actually going to be
significantly louder!!

Good luck and happy camping!
