The light does not have a switch on it? My is wired the same way, but I just turn the light off with the built in switch.

Mine has 2 switches. For some reason they do the same thing. I cant just turn the fan on. The light comes on with either switch.

I have a 2014 haritage glen 300 BH. I have sat tv's at every outlet, including one outside.

I have the direct tv genie system.
The problem I found is the sat signal can't go back through a splitter in the tt. The solution is to use a two way splitter on the sat cable before attaching to the tt.
Then run the 2 wires from the splitter to the tt sat and cable connections. Connect the main genie box to the sat connection in the living room. Use the genie clients at any other cable outlet.
