Satellite wiring....

I just bought a new 2011 XLR 40X12 and have little literature on the unit. Can anyone explain how the connections work for the Sat. connections? I attached a pic of the connections behind the TV and noticed that it is wired for Direct TV. How does this work if there is no dish on the roof?

You gotta either use a permanent dish mounted to ur trailer, or a portable one on a stand outside...my setup goes from the outside dish to the 'switch' which is plugged into the external sat input, then on the inside i have a dual tuner box plugged into the sat output with an hdmi cable to the main tv, then the second tuner output backfed through the trailers cable input. So i can watch one program in the main room and something different in the bed, bunk, and outside. 4 tv's total....but yes....the connections you have are just for connecting dish....you still need the sat and receiver boxes.

Well Have the connections but now wiring from the factory... Pulled the lower panel off to find a connector with no wiring run to it then went up on the roof and drilled the sat. rough in spot and no cable there. REALLY NOT HAPPY WITH FOREST RIVER RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
