Short in System?

We woke up the other morning to find our power cord & pigtail in a puddle of water….I guess we forgot to look at the weather forecast. As it turns out, it looks like one side of the pigtail shorted out and now only about 1/2 of the power works in our 365 saq. Because of this, the battery died, so I checked the two 40 amp fuses in the converter (behind the breaker box). Both of those fuses looked fine, so now I don't know what to do. I know the power cord is ok and now I know the converter is ok. What else could it be?

The front A/C unit (12,500 btu) works fine but the main A/C unit (15,000 btu) and the refrigerator don't work. I don't believe the microwave works either.

Thanks for your help!

Open and reclose your (two pole) 50 amp circuit breaker. Its 2 50 amp breakers ganged together. Sounds like one tripped, not the other.

I pulled the two 40 amp fuses from the converter (behind the breaker box), opened & re-closed the 50 amp circuit breaker and now electric is working as normal. Both A/C units work, refrigerator is working again, but Microwave isn't working. Any guesses on that?

Thank you!!

A bit tougher answer, at the back of the MW, just at the cord entrance there is a fuse just inside the case. Its designed to clear this type problem without lunching the electronics. Study the unit carefully or ask the dealer, basically remove trim top front, remove two screws and unit will hinge down and remove.

Derrick, just for info these two fuses are for reverse polarity to keep from damaging the converter if battery is installed backwards. It's DC 12 volt and really has nothing to do with the ac supply.

2011 Brookstone jacks

I am having a problem with my jacks, awning not working - narrowed it down to this and there is no numbers or anything on it - seems it is like a giant fuse.
