Simple inverter question

Thanks Herk. I have a lot to review before I decide to install the 3000 watt inverter. I would never use it at full capacity, I know. And it only draws 3 amps without a load so I will research it to see if it is variable depending on load.

I looked up the 42" Hisense TV and it only draws 80 watts so there's not much need for a lot of power...

I'm just waiting to I get the rig in my hands to complete the research.

3 amps without a load is a huge overhead. If you are boondocking (or camping without hookups ) that inverter needs a kill switch of its own.

My PowerBrite 2300 has a less than 0.2 amp overhead for example.
