Good call 5Picker, I didnt think of that aspect. I do know the wire that runs from the plug to the battery is more than 16ga because when I was checking out the storage in back of the zamp plug I noticed the wire wasn't even connected to it so I had to install it. I believe it is 10 or 12ga. but I should be concerned about the plug itself.
My second option will be to make a pig tail that will come from the spare battery to the trailer harness that plugs into the TV. I would like to make it quick and simple so the wife can do it when we run out of juice at 3 am and the furnace dies and she can plug it in
