Solar controller

Pictured is the controller of my 50W solar panel. What do the load, cut-off and cut-in numbers mean? Thanks

Pretty sure it kicks charging in at 13 volts and kicks out at 14.2

Agree. It's a pretty rudimentary controller that is essentially an ON/OFF switch.

Would take too much space on the label if it said "Turns on charge when battery voltage drops below 13 volts and turns off charge when it reaches 14.2 signifying full charge"

Unfortunately not everyone understands the Jargon used in various industries.

Something like "Charge starts @13 V Charge stops @14.2" would be more universally understood by lay persons.
