Strange light problem

My outside flood over the door is on all the time. The switch is lit showing it is on whether it is switched to the on position or off position. The strange thing is, I pull all the wires off the switch and the flood is still on. It's on with shore power connected or not. Any ideas?

You have a toy hauler which has:
More than one door.
May have actual flood lights over one or more doors.
May have 3 way switch(es).
May also have a porch light seperate from a flood light.

Whether or not you are on shore power is irrelevant for the most part.
So hows about a photo or two?

I would suggest that the one you are looking at is NOT the switch for the light you are concerned about... : /

I feel your pain, though, as I've delivered many BRAND NEW coaches from the factories to dealers, and have had several times when no matter how many searches, or how long I've tried to locate a switch, I CANNOT get a light or run of lights OFF, even while driving at night! What a pain!

I give up!

(it shouldn't be this hard to figure out -do you hear me factory engineers!???)

Do you have a remote that controls the light? If so, once you turn the light on with the remote, you have to use the remote to turn it back off.

Problem Solved

It was the remote. Our trailer was broken into recently and they got all the remotes for everything. Our previous remote only had functions for the slide. The replacement remote didn't come with any instructions but I noticed it had a light symbol on it. Pressed that and the light went out. Good call!
