surge protector

i'm going to install a hard wire surge protector in my Columbus 320 RS and looking
for suggestion on mounting ETC!!!

What exactly are you looking for? Location, technique or what?

Installed ours (hardwired) in the power bay (back wall) and wired into the transfer switch.

i would like suggestions on both - unit is still in storage

Typically, either close to the inlet plug, or the distribution center, or the transfer switch if you have one as you can just remove the main wire and use a short jumper to connect the one side of the Surge protector.In my case there was a bit of space behind the distribution center
