Trailer Brake Light Adapter Help

Hello

This is my first post to this forum so I hope I'm in the right place. I just bought a 2010 Flagstaff popup trailer and I'm trying to find an adapter that will adapt the 7 pin round (6 pins and a big thing in the middle) female cable connector from the trailer to a 4 pin inline on my truck.

Anybody done this before?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

There is a reason for the plug. Usually trailer brakes and battery charge line. Not sure what the laws are in your state about trailer brakes.

Here are a bunch of adapters.

You need to have your truck/car wired for the 7 pin connector. The 4 pin just won't work to activate the brakes, even tho' they do make adaptors that will work the lights.
