Trojan T105 s: price, Manufacture date

I have a line on two Trojan T105. 6 volt batteries and I was wondering if anyone knows what a good price is for those batteries. The store, batteries unlimited in Grand RapidsMichigan, is selling the batteries for $130each and the manufacturing date is June of this year. Does that sound acceptable for those of you who know?

For a new Trojan T105 that is about as cheap as I have seen them. You will not find many if any new T105's any cheaper. I think I remember that COSTCO was about the cheapest place to buy this battery.

Great, thanks!

Our local Costco did not carry the T105 Trojan batteries, so Costco does not seem to be an option at this time.
Is a manufactures date of June 2016 new enough?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that a new 6 V battery has to be "conditioned" before it should be used? I guess I could ask my sales rep, but I don't always have a great deal of faith in the technical knowledge of some sales persons.

Costco has never carried Trojans.
They do carry another brand of 6v golf cart batteries.

It seems like a good price, why not Google Trojans and see what price comes up. I brought four Trojans in Florida this spring for $105 apiece but most places I checked at home was more than that

You should be able to go to the Trojan website and learn about recommended installation and maintenance procedures.

Where did you purchase your Trojan batteries? I will be in the market later this fall.

I purchased my Trojans in Lake City FL at a place that sells golf carts. I'll look some more and see if I can come up with a name

I see one 12 miles from our Fort Myers location. In fact there are several locations in the Fort Myers area. Thanks for responding!

Down here in the Tampa Bay area they are going for $105 each with core return. That's what I paid for mine here in Largo, Florida.

Contact Superior Carts in Allegan, Mi just south of Grand Rapids. I bought 4 new T-105's for $95 each plus tax, last month.

Dang! Missed the deal...wanted to buy before the rally.
While at a seminar in Goshen , the presenter, Brian Moran or Drew Stratton, I believe, stated that the converter in our rig was not built to handle two 6volt batteries! Too much amperage or something . Does anyone have further info about this?

My converter can handle any bank of batteries. But I guess a low amp converter would just take longer to charge up the batteries.

Not to sound more clueless than I am , how does one determine the strength or power of a converter?

Well I don't know but the converter/charger starts out 35amp and goes up. The one I have is a 70amp. I have a charger for a separate bank and it's a 40amp charger
