Truck isn't powering trailer running lights, but brake and blinker lights work

I'm borrowing a friend's truck to pull my trailer this weekend, and when I plugged my pigtail into his truck the running lights didn't come on. The blinkers and brake lights work, as does the brake cotroller, so the connection is at least partially working.

I "shorted" the running lights by sticking a fuse in my pigtail and they all came on so I know they work. It seems that something is amiss with the truck. Any idea what it could be? All 7 pins at the connection look good. Is it possible that a wire broke somewhere in the truck harness? Could there be a fuse in the truck that ONLY affects those pins on the connection?

Most newer trucks have a seperate fuse for light on trailer.
these fuses are seperate from the truck light fuses.

Did you check the power coming from the truck?

Check your Honda's manual. There are seperate fuses for each pin on the plug.

Actually it's a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 (I'm borrowing it, as my wife has the Ridgeline). I'll check the fuses -- glad to know that each pin has it's own fuse!
