The converter is just the stock WFCO 55 amp model. I will carry a portable charger that can go to 20 amps though.

I picked this up on the way home with the batteries. It's a tad longer than I wanted but there's no voltage drop and it leaves a little room for the batteries to separate in the twin box without putting pressure on the post.

I will do the same although I have seen the WFCO up over 10 amps so it might be ok.

That's a question I have also. I've heard of people doing it. I think if you keep the disconnect switch by the door off, you can power the camper with a generator while you charge your batteries with the portable charger. I'm going to try to figure that out in the next few days.

I tested that with my generator yesterday and the camper functions fine with the factory disconnect in the off position.
