Oh, great. Glad to hear I didn't buy an extra garbage can, ha. I knew the width would be fairly close.

As far as someone mentioning straps don't come with it, I've got straps coming out of my ears, ha, so tying it down is the least of my issue.

That's an excellent idea, protect the terminals.

Still looking hard at them but was hoping for some opinions from the forum. The 10% off will be good for a while, I think.

With that box being 13" tall and being so close to the front of the camper, can you get the batteries loaded in easily with the way the camper front angles forward? I've got basically the same camper as you, the Mini Lite 2109S.

Other than the batteries are heavy, there are no issues getting the tall batteries in the space

I will post a picture when I get home of the empty box, batteries are downstairs but the box is taller than the batteries

Good question and observation. I didn't consider that till you just mentioned it but fortunately, it looks to be an easy fit based on the box being 13' high x 8.5" wide with the lid on it. Just eyeballing it with my ruler, I'd say I'll have about 2" clearance maybe a little less but it's not going to be anywhere close to a problem from what I'm seeing. I've got the 2104 but I think our tongue and camper front are identical.

BTW, I did buy the Duracells this morning. They look good and they are heavy. We'll see how they do. They sell a bunch of them. Someone was buying 6 of them when I was there this morning.

I think they'll be a really nice upgrade for boondocking.

Did you have to give them 2 core return batteries?

I didn't. They didn't ask for them and I didn't think about it. I didn't have any old ones so I was prepared to pay an extra $30.

This is what I paid online by credit card for the two 230 amp/hr's.

Yes, that's them.

https://www.batteriesplus.com/productdetails/sligc115

A pop up should appear with a 10% discount code when you go to the link.

Yea, they seem to be pretty good. Made in USA according to the specs if that's worth anything. Free replacement for a year. I got the box ordered from the Ebay link that someone posted earlier Only aboug $5 cheaper than the century site.

They look really nice. Obviously a serious competitor to the Trojan T-105. Identical down to the lifting strap sockets. same specs, weight

What is going to be your plan for charging them? Through the factory converter?

I didn't notice that but good to hear. The Trojans seem to be the standard of excellent from what people say but no dealers around here and I wasn't really wanting to pay that kind of premium for them. I think these will be find. The visual quality seems excellent and I check all the cells with a hydrometer before putting them on charge and they all looked good.
