WFCO Distro Panel WF-8935AN Cooling fan

I have a 2005 28BH with a WFCO WF-8935AN Distro panel fan that keeps running with no load on the system. Should I replace the unit or the control board? I have seen whole units for the price of a control board.

Are you certain there is no load on the system? It could be charging the battery for example, even if all your lights and other 12V loads are off. There are other small loads which are normally connected all the time like gas detectors, radio, etc. Normally these wouldn't be enough to force the fan on, but perhaps yours is more sensitive or the converter located in a warm area.

I also don't see an issue if the fan runs continuously unless the noise really bothers you at night, or it runs when you're dry camping.

I have a 2009, 392FLFB. The converter fan would run all night with nothing running. After a couple of years, the lights would dim, and the brighten again. We have a voltage problem in the park that was solved with an autoformer, but the incoming 120 shouldn't affect the 12v system regardless! Finally replace just the converter, not the panel, with a Progressing Dynamics Converter w/Charge Wizard. No more fan, ever. No dimming. Two other reviewers on Amazon had same problem as I did with WFCO. Easy change, and nice to never hear the fan running.
