What is this device?
I continue to learn that I do not know everything about my Rockwood 2604ws - when I uncovered and set it up today for the upcoming camping season, I noticed this device hanging from the battery. It has what looks like a reset button inside a bulb, but I have no idea when it might be used. Explanation would be appreciated. Also, should it be hanging outside the battery box or tucked inside?
Thanks in advance for your help.

That will reduce my fuse budget, won't it? 😆

So should it hang out in space like that or be tucked in the battery box?

Hi I would tuck it back into the battery box. I just replaced my tongue jack to day and tucked it into the battery box to protect it from the elements. The breaker body did not look like it is water tight. The only part that looks water tight is the push button reset.
Hope This Helps Tim

I drilled a hole in the corner of the battery box on my old TT and installed it there. That way you have access to reset it if necessary.

I did the same thing I drilled a hole in the top of my battery box and installed it there. This way I didn't have to unstrap cover to reset.

My Wildwood did not have one - that's why I was always replacing a fuse for the power jack, I think???

Don't know the official name. It's a reset switch. I can't say it's a necessity - I eventually learned how to avoid blowing the fuse on our Wildwood by painting a line around the tongue jacket just short of the fully retracted position and stopping just before that line.
