What is this part?

I’m not getting power when running off the battery. With a volt meter, I traced good power from the battery, through the battery disconnect switch, past a fuse, to this interesting part. It has two posts. The line in post (from the battery) has power. But line out post has no power. What is this part called? Shouldn’t it be passing power through?

Thanks.

What is this part?

It's a circuit breaker, should be a small button on it to reset. If not could be a auto reset style.

Ah, yes, thank you. I found the button and pressed it. It went in, but there was no resistance. And, I still don’t have power out the other side.

So it seems that the circuit breaker is bad?

Could be Kevin, this is always a great time to clean terminals with a wire brush and check breaker with vomit. As long as you're under there clean ground connections to the frame

I already ordered a new one. Super cheap. But I will take your advice and clean all the terminals I can find.

Thanks for your help guys. I never would have figured this out on my own.

50 amp? Good question. There are inline 40 amp fuses on either side of the circuit breaker, so I just ordered a 40 amp circuit breaker. But I better double-check that 40 amp is correct. How can I tell? I don't see anything printed on the old one.

Got a new 40 amp part, replaced it today, and everything works.

Thanks again for the help.

I suggest you buy a couple as spares. Forest River Surveyor placed a couple under the exposed belly of our 264RKLE. Corrosion/debris/crud will get to them. I also like the bus bar flattened copper pipe connector.
I will be re-working these and adding some environmental protection.

I had a circuit breaker for power to the 12V Lippert system fail last week while camping. No power to awning, slide out or stabilizers. Went to an parts store and bought 12V 30amp circuit breaker. Bolted right up
Fixed the problem
