What is this wire for in bedroom?

I think it is simply for the lights that aren't working next to where bed should be, box is messed up so I repairing it, but wires have odd splice and weren't hooked up.

i assume you know that wire should never be used in the bedroom. Based on your screen name you should know rope is the way to go.

Oh wait, just saw the pictures, you meant electrical wires.. nm... i will move along

Now what I'd like to know is whether mountndream represents two words or three. Or would the answer to this riddle be the 51st shade of grey?

We have a 110 household AC receptacle on either side of our bed box. Use for alarm clock, electric blanket etc. Maybe?

After market mod?

Oregoncalfroper, with the photos turned sideways it is a little more difficult to make out, but does the end of the wire have part of a connection? In other words, does it look like it should plug into another wire? Perhaps the one under the bed has the other half of the connection. In the last photo it looks like a wire goes out through the wall of the RV, did the previous owner perhaps mount an after market light in a storage compartment and this is the power cord?

so i talked to a guy in a local fb group that works at forest river, most all lighting wiring is in loops, so they use wire tap splices to hook power to said loop, so i hooked it up and had power

We have a wire like that that plugs into an outlet on the bed box in the bedroom. It is the power for a reading light.
