Where is it?

My converter charger. I have a 2006 Cedar Creek Silver back Fifth Wheel model 29LRLBS.

My rig is still winterized and on one of my checks I noticed that my battery bank was dead.(6 six volt golf cart batteries). I got them fully charged so now I need to repair or replace the converter charger. I think its under the breaker panel, not sure. If it is do I get to it from the front or from the front compartment? If I remove the shore line and turn off the battery switch will that cut the power or do I have to remove the ground cable ?

I have another question on my level up system. Is the place to post it or ??

Welcome to the forum.

What brand is your distribution center?
If its a wfco then yes depending on model it will be inside.

Fyi I would imo replace it with a progressive dynamics brand.

Thanks for your quick response. It is what ever Forest River installed when they built it. I guess I'll start trying to remove the front cover and use my volt meter to check for live wires.

I would think any replacement would have the same wires to hook up?

Disconnect shore power before removal of course.
If you open the cover the model and make is listed.

You will have to pull the circuit breaker box and look behind, or it may be attached to the box itself.

Remove the plastic cover. The convertor is located on the bottom to the unit.
