Winegard Carryout TV Antenna

Does anyone know if I would buy the Winegard Carryout, do I need to purchase a service from Dish TV or not? I heard that you didn't have to and you would be able to get free cable channels. Thanks!

Sorry you have to subscribe to dish to get channels.

Call your local dish retailer and get the tailgater package.
Or look on dish network for more info.

You can subscribe month by month.

Free ain't free. If you expect to use a service that someone has invested $$$ in, you will need to pay that piper if you expect "service", in this case Dish or Direct TV.

Mikey, I didn't mean to rile anyone up. We just camp periodically and my current antenna is not great but I can't justify an additional cable service. I am just trying to find a happy median. Thank you for your input I do appreciate it!

Fez,
Check into tailgater but I'm afraid after this post it won't be for you.
You still have to buy the sat. And receiver.
Plus the monthly fee. But as I said you can have unit turned on only when camping so cost would be minimal. Other other than the upfront sat and receiver cost.

It would be better to have dish at home then just bring your receiver from home to use and pick up a used dish on eBay.
Then it would be ( free) in your camper but cost you at home lol
