winterizing the vehicle (class C)

After blowing all the water out with compressed air, displacing it with RV antifreeze and removing the coach battery, I am almost ready to turn "Little Toot" over to the storage people. It will spend almost 6 months inside an unheated building with a bunch of other vehicles on a farm, inaccessible to me.
But what about the battery in the vehicle? It will not be charged. What should I do to assure myself that "Little Toot" will start come next April?

If you don't have 110 to plug into, completely disconnect the batterys and bring a jump box with you at pick up. If there is no draw on the batteries then there should be enough to start. If you leave them hooked up, they will be drained due to vampire loads.

I remove my coach batteries and take them home. Occasionally, I then put them on my battery charger and make sure they are up to snuff. Springtime I reinstall.

I contacted the storage people and was told "We routinely disconnect all batteries as vehicles are parked.".

So, that worry is put to bed. We have now winterized the plumbing, vacuumed, and removed absolutely everything that's not bolted down, including the mattress. All that's left is sheets of Bounce, and baking soda in the fridge and freezer.

The theory is that the mice, greatly disappointed at our offerings, will move on to the next motorhome.

In my opinion, owned trailers since 84, never had a single mouse in any of them. I do the dryer sheets, filled any holes...the usual stuff. My neighbor has mice every spring when he brings his Montana home from inside storage. They also remove everything not bolted down, BUT !!! they don't deep clean the interior. Saw it this spring and there was an abundance of food crumbs everywhere, which I believe the mice make that a number one priority...FOOD SOURCE !! I've always left bedding, pillows, blankets, books in our trailers, but I deep clean front to back, top to bottom. No food source...no mice.

Yeah, I did the same thing last year. Dryer sheets everywhere, cleaned, all food out, etc. This spring when we moved a rug we had between the seats, we found where the rag rug had been chewed in the middle. And, no, none our our furkids did it at the end of last year. When we used the furnace the first time out this year, bits of that rug were coming out of one of the furnace vents. I tore that place apart and couldn't figure out how the rug bits and mouse\mice got into that area. This year, I WILL have Decon set out all over the living area! First time in all these years of owning a trailer/motor home that we had a little rodent

Don't know if it works but it smells real nice !!!
A little pricy !!!

Forgot to ask... You don't have an ice maker, do you? If so, don't forget that! 😨

Sounds typical for TSP !!!
We also find some stuff @ Farm & Home Store !!!
I am also guessing the Big Box Stores may carry it ???

The Fresh Scent Rodent Repellent is much stronger than Dryer Sheets,,,
And for the cost I hope it last much longer than dryer sheets ???
