Ok a wiring diagram doesn't exist for the 2016 Rockwood Aframe trailers.
Can anyone tell me what the other set of wires connected to the electric hitch switch are for???
The switch is a double throw single pole (DTSP) switch.

FR has documentation !
The problem is RV owners who get on a forum and tell others that there is no documentation. This is done with good intentions but is very misleading and wrong.
Like any manufacture they have to provide documentation to their production staff. If you truly believe that FR does not have documentation then I suggest you should never have purchased a FR Product.
We pay the cost when the dealers have to use the trail and error methods to fix our units, as well as the fact that we, end up taking our units to a dealer because we have no documentation ourselves.
I wrote the following and subsequently received a call from the George Town electrical department asking what documentation I needed, which i received later.

Do not take no for an answer, they have documentation

I think I stated the wrong type of switch in the electric hitch circuit.
It should be a double pole single throw (DPST) switch.

Bob, I cannot argue with your logical that trailers are different then motorhomes.
However, that fact does not eliminate the need for the manufacture's need to
produce appropriate documentation for the production line. Trailers can be
just as complex as the coach portion of a motorhome.
Because RVers continue to blindly accept the no documentation answer from dealers
and forum participates we will never get the OEM to provide proper documents.
FR could realize a benefit from providing this documentation. Winnebago will provide
electrical drawings for a nominal charge. The charge I paid for a complete document set was recovered with one repair.
Instead of accepting this no documentation available position I suggest this forum
should be putting pressure on FR.
I'm finished my rant
Thanks for reading
Gary

Actually, I think you are right. I think it's a double pole double throw center off momentary switch, lol. If I'm understanding your question correctly, you've got four wires and want to know what goes where.
One is ground, one is hot. The other two go to each side of the motor. The switch contacts are crossed over so that one position of the switch has + and - on the opposite motor wires from the other switch position...if that makes any sense.

Yep, electric tongue jack. Had to replace the switch in mine a few months ago.

Given the lack of proper color-coding, and pieces of wire nutted together to extend wires, I can guarantee that my A-frame's (2014 Rockwood A122) as-built condition does not match any wiring diagram that exists.
That is the real reason why FR does not release wiring diagrams - if they actually exist. If they used standard wiring harnesses like those used in automobiles, then a diagram makes sense. But with the variety of options that affect the wiring, particularly dealer-installed options, keeping a wiring diagram current and correct would be a nightmare.
Working in aircraft maintenance, where drawings have to be maintained, drawing maintenance is one of several factors that makes owner modifications very difficult and expensive.
