Wiring Diagrams?

I am new to the Forest River World , my wife and I recently purchased a V-Cross 305VRET. I was hoping that some one out there had some wiring diagrams or even a color code legend for the power wiring and the cable / satellite wiring. My dealer is of no use on any of these questions so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Pizza, and welcome to FRF!

In general, wiring diagrams are not available. Perhaps a VCross owner has created one they will share.

For the TV/Sat wiring I can help. The Sat cable (from the outside) should come directly to a coax outlet, usually near your main TV. It may be on a separate plate, or it may be a second connection on your Antenna Booster Control plate. In case you don't know, that looks something like this:

The Cable connection comes to the back of that Antenna Booster Control. When the little black button is pushed in, the rooftop antenna amplifier is powered on and the OTA antenna is connected to your TV. When the button is out (light off), the Cable input is connected to your TV. The other TV outlets in your RV are driven by a splitter also from the back of that booster control. Here's a general wiring diagram for that.

If you find more than one coax outlet at other TV locations, they may have tried to do something fancy with your Sat connection which can be a problem. Speak up if that's the case. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Another question is , are there color codes of the coax an indication of what they are? I have brown , black, and gray coax cables.

Not to my knowledge, and if such info were published I doubt that you could trust it. It is very useful for matching up a color than you see at one place with that same color at the other end of the wire. (BTW, it seems to be common for the factory to reverse the cables or labels on the Sat and Cable connections so if things don't work at first, that's the first thing I would verify...by looking at the wire colors.)

Just throwing this out there, in my control panel outside, I have 2 sat in wires and a park cable in. Sat is white, cable is Brown. I also have gray and orange. There is inky 1 great and 5 orange. The orange all go in and come out of the splitter. I'm aiming the splitter hours to each tv port location and the day and park cable only go to respective outlets. Still don't know what color my antenna wire is to get broadcast...
