Xantrex Truecharge as converter/charger

I have a FR Stealth Toyhauler with the built in Onan 4000w generator and a Wyco converter charger that puts only puts out a constant voltage. It is not a smart charger. I also the built in Go Power solar.

Most of our camping is boondocking and I two Interstate 6v GC2 batteries in series.

If I wanted to install a Xantrex Truecharge 2 charger does it also do double duty as the Converter? If so, is it as simple as removing my existing converter and installing the Xantrex in it's place?

Might want to contact Xantrex for direct answer.

Thanks. I will call them Monday. Looking to see if anyone here has gone that route. The Xantrex allows for complete customization of all charging parameters. My Interstate batteries require charging voltages that most smart chargers can't supply. Looking to get the most from charging with my built in Onan generator.
