New owners but not complete idiots... 2019 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104s (used)
When the trailer is hooked up to the truck (electrical) there is a beeping / buzzer noise coming from the trailer brakes when we have the truck brake pedal depressed (F-150). Husband thinks it's probably just a normal thing due to the magnet. I have searched and found nothing about this beeping.
Is this normal and a safety type noise or is the noise signaling that something is amiss. The beep is not intermittant... it is on or off... If the brake pedal is depressed it is: Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep not beep... beep... beep... etc...
I hear no question is dumb... I just want to make sure we don't kill anyone when we take this out for it's first voyage.
Buzzing, humming, beeping, are normal noises for the brake magnets to make when energized or partially energized. The magnets don't make totally solid contact with the hub, so they tend to make noises. It's totally normal.
