1995 Cardinal 5th Wheel - Slides and Jacks stopped working

Correction, 1999 Cardinal 5th Wheel. Packing to head home from camping. Putting jacks down and at the same time my wife started to put the slides in. Worked for about 15 seconds then nothing. Jacks stopped working as did slides. When hitting switches, we get nothing, no sound at all.

Checked fuses and breakers on converter station and all seem good. I have a brand new battery in it as well. I've seen references to fuses around battery compartment in some campers, but mine does not seem to have that. Sure seems like it's electrical vs. mechanical.

Anyone have any ideas on where I might start to troubleshoot?

Thanks!

Chase the red (positive) battery wire. It will connect to a breaker, probably 50 amp. Sounds like you need to reset that main breaker. It won't be far from the battery., within 3 or 4 feet of wire. May be behind a panel, but it is there. The breaker will be small with two studs, and the reset button may be small, usually on one end.

The circuit breakers should be resettable. The problem is that the reset button is so small it is nearly impossible to find. But it will be on the bottom. Feel around until you find it and push the button in.

Fixed!

That was exactly it! I was thinking it had to be some sort of fuse or breaker but could not locate. Looked nothing like what I was expecting.

Thanks again!

We just got our Silverback back from factory repairs, they adjusted the slide, now here is our issue, we can hear the motor run when we push the in button but, when we push the button for the slide to go out nothing, it is dead, we checked our batterys, fine, found the reset button and did that, still won't work?? Looks like it is back to the dealer and we just got it back???

As a simple test, reverse the wires from the switch. I suspect it is a simple a a dead switch.

Thanks, we talked to Forest River and we reversed the wires on the solenoid, the slides then went out, so we need a new solenoid,
