My pin box is set to is lowest possible position. No more holes!
I have only had the fiver touch the bed rails one time while backing into a funky spot up at Shaver Lake. It was slight and no damage.
5-3/4" is just too tight.
I have parked my Tundra next to my brother-in-laws GMC 2500 and his entire truck sits higher than mine.
I have not measured it but visually it's at least 6" higher.

I told the boss (wife) last night that we may just have to get a new truck and trailer. She has not spoken to me since.

Got my dimples while taking a 45 turn at a RR crossing that really torqued the truck and 5er. Ticked me off.

I know that the Chev/GMC's sit high...even the RWD ones. Have you looked at Ford or Dodge?

I have been eyeballing the new Ford 350 with the Powerstroke 6.7 Diesel.
I have not stopped by to see one in person for fear of being eaten alive by salesman.
They can smell a good credit rating a mile away!

I expect the same height issue.

Better stick with a chevy you'll be fine !

When the camper sits down on the hitch it'll all level out.
