2015 351DS First Major Problem

We've had trailers/rvs for about 10 years. We recently purchased a 351DS. All RVs go through that first few months of repairs of odds and ends.

I took ours in for a front end alignment, it's covered in the first 90 days, because I notice a slight pull to the right. It has 1700 miles, 1200 of which were on it when we purchased it.

Got a call yesterday from repair shop...BENT AXLE. Obviously the dealer is cooperating, it is less than two months old.

Is this common straight from the dealer? What else should I look for to structurally? Can this happen just driving, What causes a bent axle, considering it has not been overloaded.

thanks,

mk

Could have been bent from the factory OR the transport driver hit something pretty substantial delivering it to the dealer.

Prolly gonna send you to Ford for repair under warranty since it is their chassis. Good luck!

Major Problem

I would also request the front tires be replaced. If you noticed some ware there could be damage to the side walls, especially if something was hit in transport. Good Luck; Frank
