2016 Salem brakes

I need to replace my electric drum brakes I have a 2016 forest river Salem model 30qbss. Does anyone know what brakes I need to replace it with? Preferably what originally comes installed??

I'm curious, why are you replacing brakes on a 2016 model?

Do you need the entire brake system, drum and all, or just the shoes?

You should have 5200# axles so they take 12x2 brakes.

Remove the wheel/tire, pull off the drum and measure the shoe width plus the drum ID and count the mounting bolts on the backing plate. eTrailer.com is a good source for parts and your local NAPA dealer for grease seals. New grease and cotter pins plus a lot of shop towels. Those of us who have done it will tell you how easy it is, those who haven't will be calling Good Sam/Coach-Net. New brakes on a 2016?

Yes I am as well. We have maybe 10000 miles on our 2016. Only needed grease so far and hopefully won't need brakes for a few more miles. So something must be wrong to need brakes already.

Complete backing plate brake assemblies from E-Trailer or Trailer Parts supplier closer to You! You Must be Towing with a Yugo if brakes are needed this soon! You might also check you Tailights also they have been getting quite a workout as well! Youroo!!

Looks like a 'one and done'. Hopefully he's just working and will get back with us soon.
