22.5" Aluminum Wheel Corrosion

My 2011 Georgetown 350 has corrosion on the wheels due to the center cap rubbing through the clear coat on the aluminum wheels.

Has anyone else had this problem?

If so what can I do to fix or mitigate?

Has anyone gotten any relief on this issue from Ford, Dicor or FR?

I think the wheels were furnished by Ford. If you happen to have a custom wheel shop nearby, and can get someone to get the wheel and tire off, surely the wheel shop can clean the area with bead blast or similar and recoat to preserve it. Aluminum tends to pit and there's no stopping on its own, just goes deeper.
