Unhappy 2216 stealth

We just bought our first trailer a 2012 stealth ss2216 and have towed it about 200 km noticed the tires were wearing weird and upon further investigation noticed the axles are bent the trailer has dual 3500s but the gvwr is 7693lbs. Forest river should be putting in better axles in my opinion.

I've moved your post to it's own thread.

With the camper's GVWR, part of it is tongue or pin weight. The manufacturer's typically set the GVWR by axle weight rating plus the dry tongue (or pin) weight...it's probably 693 lbs on your Stealth.

Agreed, mine has an identical GVW (7700) as well with 3500 lbs axles. higher load rated tire to match would be nice as well. currently on 2nd set of axles with no issues. Had my axles replaced under warranty, and most of my tires had considerable wear as well. The axle manufacture would only warrant the axles, FR stepped up and replaced the tires when I had complained. (6 months into ownership) the inside shoulders were almost completly worn out after 2000 km
