A "real" wheel chock

Found in an antique store. What do you think? I don't think it will slip too much!

A flat tire about to happen if used incorrectly! The spikes go into the ground.

I went with the X-Chock Tire Locking Chock. If you google it, it will pop up. It comes
with the 3/4" ratchet, it looks like your stablizer 3/4" screw but with 4 pads on them to go between your 2 tires and tighten down. Lock sold seperate. Worked great for me. Those plastic wheel chocks they sell, I didn't really care for. They I saw the X-Chock Tire Locking Chock. My 2015 FR 294QBLE didn't move.

When I started work back in 82 one of my jobs was to clean out the dead storage area in the fleet dept , came across about 50 of these, they used to use them on the overhead bucket trucks from the 1960's . Should have kept some , could have sold them as antiques

Ahh I see, makes sense of the spikes, wouldn't want to forget 1 time and run over one. I would of kept a set and sold the rest for antiques.

In the winter season, I used to pull out the tire chains going into the mountains and throw them under the tires until I had them on the tires.

Yeah, these are worth some $$ today. I think they did say utility truck.

This is just for home decoration. It's not going anywhere. And it weighs too much to carry around!

I'm sure many of you have heard the military acronym, RTFM, which stands for Read The Instruction Manual.

I think we need one here: RTFP. Read The Original Post.

Another one that would be useful would be RTFT. Read The Entire Thread.
