Adjusting Torsion Axle? Mini-Light need more clearance

Rockwood Mini Light has very poor clearance.
Are there lift kits?
Can I get more height from Torsion Axle?
Thank you,
M-Bob

Thanks guys. Got fooled, thought that I could just reverse springs to top of axle for much added clearance but, that trailer has a Torsion Axle.

Did call a local RV repair place here yesterday and the gentleman said that, "it would cost around 25 hundred dollars to lift." That's crazy.

Today checking out more options.

That Mini Light should have been manufactured with better clearance.
It's the lowest trailer that I have seen on the roads.
Low Rider!

Thank you all,
M-Bob

Sounds like the repair guy wanted to sell you a set of axles with a steeper down angle. That's one way of gaining more clearance, but if you only need a couple of inches the lift kit is quick and easy, and a whole lot less expensive.

Our 2012 Rockwood travel trailer had the same problem - our driveway is sloped and the rear stabs would hit the pavement. Our axles were made by Al-Ko; a call to Forest River got the parts and we had a local heavy track shop do the installation; the labour was around CAD 800.

Before:

After:

The lift kit:

No problems with the driveway now.

Things are moving along well -- thank you all for your posts and pictures.

Called even a closer by RV repair shop today and they said that, "they could custom make some brackets and install for between 8 hundred to 1 thousand dollars.

Getting there -- thank you,
M-Bob

Im not sure who makes the axles that are under your trailer. My previous trailer was a Starcraft and had Dexter torsion axles under it. The shoul dhave a label or tag on the backside of the axle tube with a model number on it. I called Dexter with the part numbers from my axles and purchased the correct kit direct through them for under one hundred bucks. The hardest part of the install was jacking and supporting the trailer high enough so the wheels could be put back on after the lift was installed. You will also probably need to reroute the brake wires due to the assembly being further from the frame after the lift brackets are installed. I did it in my driveway on a Saturday. I did the alignment myself with a tape measure. Not a bad job at all.

I found mine on our first trip with the new-to-us trailer...
