Anyone use oversized tire covers?
I have an opportunity to purchase some Adco Tire covers for next to nothing ($15 for 4 new ones), but they are one size too big. I am wondering how bad the fit would really be? For what it's worth, my tires are near the tall end of the scale for "the proper size"...according to Adco.

For $15.00 bucks I would buy them in a hot minute. You can always make them fit, there just sitting there to cover the tire....

BUY NOW!
Easy enough to add an extra strap or bungee cord is needed.
The covers I have are a tight fit (Walmart) so those may go on easy.

I had individual tire covers on my 5er that I just traded in on for a new 5er. The covers would blow off in high wind storms and the storage lot owner would collect them. He would hand them to me when I showed up for the trailer the next time. Will to prevent them from blowing off in the future; I purchased 4 tie down straps at a auto parts store. I use them to strap on the tire covers and they have never blown off again. The straps where less than $15 for the four of them.
Now everybody who covers their tires have similar straps or bung cords around their tire covers in the storage lot.

I had a set of covers left over from my class A 22 inch tires on my motorhome. I put them on my new class C, works fine, they seem to stay on better being larger than the tight fit.

For that $$ I would grab them up! They only cover the tires to protect them. You can easily "tuck" them behind or sew a pleat into the backside somewhere....

If you feel they flap around you can always put a block of wood on top of the tire.

Thank you for all the responses. I will try to grab these if it's not too late.

My Grey Wolf cover lost its elasticity, so I used to small bungy cords in an 'X' pattern on the back side to keep it on the tire. You could also lace a cord around the seam to act as a draw string to pull it tight.

Buy them, that's a great deal. At the very most 1 size bigger is one inch.
