I don't know...lol. First I heard of it too. I guess I will have to make sure I spend most of my time out of the passing lane. (sigh). I questioned him on it and he advised it was pretty standard for their shop. Seems like they are in the "trailer manufacturing" industry so I assume there must be some merit to this?

Don't think I am going to ask them to change it back to perfect 90 degree to hitch as I am sure they will want money to change it, and he sounded pretty convincing that this practice was standard for all their trailer builds.
He suggested the compensation would vary based on the length of the trailer.
