Unhappy Axle and Tire trouble

I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has any advice on an axle problem.

We had our 2006 Salem LE 27BHSS serviced just prior to a big road trip(5000 miles) because the tires were not lined up. The front tire was sticking out more than the rear tire. They found that the leaf springs needed to be replaced and recommended new tires. We did all that and went on our trip.

We had some problems on the road. The wheel bearing failed 3 times. When they failed the 2nd time we were in Illinois and the RV dealer we spoke to recommended we bring it to a frame and alignment specialist. He said that the axles are bent and that's why the bearings keep failing. Had to have 4 new tires put on because he said they were so badly worn it would be dangerous for us to drive without new tires.

My questions are: We noticed uneven tire wear about 1000 miles into our trip, is that a result of the bent axle? Was the original problem of the tires not lining up an indication of a bent axle? Now I'm afraid to drive it and don't want to fix it because I'm upset at how much money we had to spend to have it repaired on the road.
