This is the question: Someone helped my husband level the rv once it was parked. So what the guy had him do was jack up each wheel just enough to slide the woods pieces under, and they did one side at a time. My husband is nervous that maybe the axels could have gotten bend by doing it this way. ???????????
Have you made a trip with it since or is it still parked? I doubt that it messed up your axles, but that does seem like a strange way of leveling. Most people use the plastic Lego-type blocks, tri-levelers, or Anderson levelers from what I've learned. None of these methods require putting anything under the axle.

Ok, let me re do this..........the rv is still parked.....they jacked up both tires on one side at a time, and dug out under the tire to slide the wood pieces and we also have the blocks which they used on the other side. I think what my husband is worried about is that they did one side at a time and did not jack both sides up at the same time....new at rv'ing. And he is back in afganistan so i am trying to write his concerns about this situation. Thank you
If you had a flat tire you would only jack up the side that the flat is on.
Next time you move put the boards in front of the tires and then pull on to them, much less work that way.

Making an assumption here, but if they raised both tires at the same time, they must have jacked between the tires on the frame, so no problem with the axles. It would be no difference than changing the 2 tires at one time which is normally how it is done at a tire shop.
Thank you all, yes we had the rv delivered. And when my husband came home for rr the guy next to us said that he could help him level. Its a 2014 salem villa estate park model. Hopefully when we do move it in aug. That all is well. It will be on a perm. Site. Not towing 40 feet on these roads, with so many crazy drivers. Time to retire and enjoy the ocean view.
