Axles/Bearings failures
wondering if anyone else has had issues with Axles/Bearings on 2011 Rockwood Signature Ultralite under rated for towing capacity. Have had two issues with bearings failing, Axles are 3500lbs each and dry weight is listed as 7414lb. Cargo allowance is 1666lbs. Doesn't add up?

If these numbers are correct, yes you have the wrong axles under your trailer. You should have 4000lb axles.

What is the GVWR?
Is the GVWR / GAWR sticker still on the camper?

That is what we have come to find out. Our issue then is why did Forest River put the wrong axles on this rig. We've been told we should have at least a 6 lug tire on it as well and it came with 5 lug.

GVWR is posted as 9187lbs
Dry weight is 7471lb
cargo 1666
the tag is still there and readable. It shows the axles being 4000lbs each but when we had our last bearing failure the service manager told us they are only 3500lb axles.

You are going to have to do some homework and determine exactly what axles you have.
Just because someone told you they are 3500 lb. axles doesn't mean they are... and just because it shows they should have been 4000 lb. axles doesn't mean they are either.
Are there any tags or stickers on the axles that would give you the information needed to make a proper determination?

Do you still have the build sheet that shows the serial numbers of the axles? There is usually a stamped name and number on the shaft of the axle about midway. This can then be checked to see what you really have on the unit.

I would crawl underneath your camper and look at the axles. Somewhere along the axles (anywhere between the wheels, but usually near the middle on the back of the axle tube) and look for the stamp that denotes the axle size.

You have to subtract your pin/tongue weight from the dry weight+cargo carrying capacity to get the actual weight on the axles at max loaded weight. When you do that, you will see that the axles are magically rated at 100% of that number. In fact, when the unit is weighed leaving the factory, the computer automatically fudges the CCC rating so that the loaded weight-on-axles equals the sum of the axle ratings and that's what it prints on that trailer's sticker.
There is no such thing as a single CCC number for most models of trailers... they are all printed on the fly using the above formula which accounts for the specific option combination on each trailer as it leaves the factory.

The numbers still don't add up. With an almost 9,200 lbs GVWR, 3,500 lbs axles don't cut it. (Which was the reason for the post.) With a 10% tongue weight, the axles have 8,200 lbs on them. With 15% tongue weight, the axles have 7,820 lbs on them.
Considering manufacturers like to use low percentages for their pin weights, 4,000 lbs axles are cutting it close.
The OP needs to figure out once and for all what axles are on the camper.
