Balance RV Tires

Does any one balance their RV tires? I just but some new tires on my camper and asked for the tires to be balanced and they looked at me like I was crazy.

Got the same question when I put on new tires. Of course you want them balanced.

Just replaced the tires on the Windjammer. The old tires were never balanced ,dealer said travel trailer tire are seldom balanced. Installed the new tires drove 4000 miles didn't have any problems. There was no lip on my rims so if they were balanced they would have to be stick on weights. The fellow who installed the tires could not remember balancing any travel trailer tires in the past. That being said it doesn't make it right, just saying I have had no problems.

Yes when I installed new tires on my 5th wheel they where balanced. Also on the boat trailer. Factory tires where not balanced on the 5th wheel but I only ran them about 350 miles. I knew that I was changing them out soon so did not bother to have them balanced. noticed a huge difference in the tires when I installed the new ones on the 5th wheel. I'm sure some of that was because I went up a load range and some was due to balancing .

Not a single weight on my OEM wheels. I took them off today and can verify that.

On my new wheels, put in Counteract Balancing Beads.

The factory places the belt seam across the rim from the valve stem so it is close.....lol

If it rotates, it needs to be balanced. Drive shafts turn much slower than tires and drive shafts are balanced. BALANCE ALL TIRES!

Be nice now.......

I balance everything, even my lawnmower tires. I can mow FAST at times....

I never use clip on rim weights, always adhesive weights. Clip on weights suck and the corrode the rims too.

Your OEM wheels were not balanced because they had Robert Duvall come in and match them perfect, staggered special.
