Question barker 3500lb electric jack

would you use a inline 30amp fuse or a breaker when wiring to the battery?

Mine is an Ultra Fab but I have a inline old style automotive fuse holder with a 30 amp slow blow fuse.

I definitely would I've never blown a fuse on mine so I'm not sure the expense of a breaker is warranted but some type of protection is mandated. Mine is a new style automotive fuse holder located inside the battery box.
