Thumbs down Brake Controller

I have just purchased a 2009 Ford F350 that has not brake controller. I have been told I can purchase an integrated one from Ford for $400.00 and then have it programmed by them. But I would rather put on a Prodigy P3 that I can get from Amazon for 131.00. Does anyone know if I can buy one with a plug-in for my truck? I can not get a straight answer from the Ford dealer.
