Break away plug
I accidentally pulled out the black pin that plugs into its power source. Can you tell me where it plugs back into?

If its the box Ford Idaho has shown, just push the pin back in (hard). Its just a piece of plastic that separates two contacts that look like a clothespin inside. Do it sooner than later because you have full energy from the battery going to your brake magnets as long as its out.

you started a second post with no pic? I'm going to guess this time. Is it the break away for the brakes? TT has a little box on frame tongue, 5th wheels it's on pin box. Hole in front of the box to put pin in. Snaps in pretty tight.

Break away plug
There is a black box on the side of the frame near the tongue you should be able to push the pin back in. Make sure you do not have the battery hooked with the pin disconnected like this it will damage your magnets if the full 12v is applied for a long time.

It will look something similar to this. It should be mounted on the side of you tongue frame. Make sure you push the pin all the way back into the housing. Problem is, if you have not disconnected your battery, you have been energizing the wires/brakes since the pin was pulled. You at least need to go remove the negative terminal from your battery until you get it back in place. You can also melt the switch having it energized for a long time.

Look along the frame rail, usually the driver side.

your battery is dead for sure unless its disconnected. Hopefully no damage to brakes was done. We were all new at one time, but please be careful. Double and triple check everything. Doesn't take much to miss something and drop our 5th wheel.

I love those red springy connectors for the brake, have one on my Roo I got from ETrailer. It doesn't get tangled or smashed around the trailer ball, and it is hard to forget when connecting/disconnecting. Everyone should have one !
