Breakaway switch activated in "parked" position.

By accident I activated the breakaway switch after putting travel trailer in storage. I have not moved the trailer at all. I still have the cable and pin. Can I just reinsert it and everything is okay? Or is there some further repairs I need to make that this may have caused.

If you removed the battery (or used the disconnect) when you put it in storage you have no worries.

If the battery was installed you most likely killed it. If it has been dead a long time you most likely will need a new one. (a dead battery will freeze and burst the case or crack the plates). It is also possible that the electromagnets that activate your brakes could have been overheated and burned out.
