Burn out bearings & Brakes

I have a 2008 Rockwood 8285SS. The back left wheel lost all bearings, seals, and the brakes. Everything got real hot. The left front was ready to go. I had been traveling on a very bad freeway (I5) RM's RV Mobile Service in Bakersfield, CA, a stop on our 4000 mile trip, saved us and they spent hours working on the Spindle to remove scratches. These two brothers where great. The bearings were packed about 6000+ miles ago before our trip. The right wheels were ok
We had traveled maybe 15000 miles in the 5th on other trips before this happened.

The extended warrantee helped a lot on the cost!

The torsion Suspension was not replaced.

We plan to reduce the weight on the sofa by not carrying the chairs strapped to the sofa as Rockwood does on this 5th, us folding chairs when traveling. Also plan to check the heat of the wheels more often. May even buy a tire pressure/heat monitor system. Not sure what else to do. I would always check the tire heat by hand at every stop.

We were lucky about where it happened and that there were parts for the axle.

Who repacked your wheel bearings? They may have done a poor job?
