Cheap springs on Freedom Express

Have you noticed how overloaded the factory springs are on a 292BHDS? I upgraded this week due to a broken one. I can't believe what they install coming off an assembly line.
The picture shows the broken one, the flat factory one and the upgraded spring and U bolt.

We have a FE292BHDSLE also. Where did you get the replacement leaf springs and how long did it take you to install. May be a good upgrade to do here in the next month or so.

Took about 2 hrs after I had jacks and tools out and ready. Pretty easy job with air tools. Call me if you have any questions. After the one broke and seeing how flat they were it was a no brainier to replace.

Guess what. You'd be hard pressed to find any good springs on any Rv coming out of the factory. They spec the cheapest ones that barely carry the weight! Sad but true!
